Cleto Chiarli celebrated World Lambrusco Day with tastings and Masterclasses
Summer is here and we kicked it off in style with a great week of events leading up to World Lambrusco Day on June 21st. This year, Cleto Chiarli in collaboration with U.S. importer Dalla Terra, built hype for the event through tasting initiatives across the United States.
In Italy, Cleto Chiarli and other Lambrusco producers, united for a two-day event in Matera, “The Colors of Lambrusco” organized by the Lambrusco Consortium. Journalist and wine communications specialists arrived on June 20th for two days of tastings and masterclasses conducted by Gabriele Gorelli MW.
On June 22, a Lambrusco tasting with sixteen producers opened to an enthusiastic public in the historic Palazzo Malvinni Malvezzi. Filippo Bartolotta, wine educator and journalist, conducted an engaging masterclass.
"Cleto Chiarli represents the history of Lambrusco," notes Tommaso Chiarli, "five generations of winemakers from Emilia who have left their mark, helping to build the reputation of a wine in which freshness, fruit and versatility represent the reasons for success.”
